Courtney Burkhardt

Marriage and Family Therapist

Welcome! I’m Courtney Burkhardt, a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a recent graduate from Thomas Jefferson University with a focus on Sex Therapy, I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate all types of relationships. Whether you’re struggling with romantic relationships, family dynamics, or your relationship with yourself, I can help. I provide a more free flowing approach to therapy, offering a flexible and adaptive environment for us to explore your concerns and find solutions tailored to your unique needs.

My expertise lies in rebuilding emotional and sexual intimacy after life transitions, such as moving, birth or adoption of a child, career changes, loss of a loved one, or any other major life changes which can significantly impact relationships. Additionally, I help individuals process family dynamics that may change over time. I create a nurturing environment to foster positivity and improvement, balancing levity and heaviness as needed. Taking the first step to therapy can be tough, and I’m here to collaborate with you to achieve the most rewarding therapeutic experience possible.

I’m skilled in working with diverse couples, including those in the LGBTQIA+ community and Consensual Non-Monogamy (CNM). Additionally, I have experience helping clients with sexual dysfunction and low desire, and those from diverse and multicultural backgrounds. My approach is to create a comfortable, supportive environment with a balance of levity and depth.

If you’re ready to take the first step towards a stronger relationship, contact us today for a free 15 minute consultation call. Let’s work together to help you achieve your therapeutic goals.‍

Thank you!
Courtney Burkhardt, MFT
